Tubby the Tuba comes to Clifton Terrace

Yesterday we went to an orchestra. My favourite instrument was the violin. I liked how it could go ferociously and also play sad music. One of the other instruments could play sad music aswell. That was the oboe. The instruments were made out of plasticine and the real ones were made out of metal and wood. The plasticine ones were kind of squishy but I didn't get to hold one. Maya got to hold one and she was the only one who knew the trombone's name. The tuba had a very light sound and the plasticine one could take it's mouth off and make it have a smiley face and a sad face.

So pleased you all enjoyed Tubby the Tuba's visit. I'm real sorry I had a meeting and couldn't be there to watch. Did any of you go to the concert on Saturday? If you did, come and tell me all about it.

Thanks Judy! 2 children from our class went to the concert in town. They thought it was good and great. They will come and tell you about it soon.

Tubby the Tuba and the angry conductor both looked angry when Tubby had a sad face.
